I don't believe any current 150/1500 has a full floater either. Full floaters have several advantages.

You have four bearings not just two!
Wheel doesn't fall off with broken axle
Much higher weight ratings
Ford made a LD F250 with a semi floater I think in the early 90's and RAM made the Mega Cab 1500 on a 2500 frame, with full floating axle
In about 2006 to 2008 I think (years might be off).
Most semi floaters seem to break outside the bearing, causing loss of the wheel and tire.
