Thanks to Westend for alerting me to the picture-posting help thread on RV.net.
This is the sticker on the door-jamb of the Sequoia. I"m sorry it's sideways, but I'm not seeing a rotate option here. Someone said I was refusing to post it - not so. I just didn't know how. Now I do.
TV weight is 67xx#.
Dry weight of the TT is 5100#.
Loaded for a short trip, TT came to 5500#.
Tongue weight was 740#, or just under 13% of the loaded weight.
Our Sequoia has the tow package.

I think you have your numbers wrong on the TV weight. Where are you getting 6700 lb????
That makes no sense, with a GVWR of 7300 lb - TV of 6700 lb, you could not even put 4 good-sized people in that Sequoia.
I looked up the Sequoia 2015 brochure. This is what it says (numbers change a little with 4WD)
curb wt = 5730
GVWR = 7100
This leaves 1370 for cargo, including people. Subtract the trailer tongue wt leaves 630 lb for cargo in the Sequoia, including people. I can assure you that there is a large margin in that number.
GCWR (gross combined weight rating) is 13,600. With the Sequoia fully loaded plus trailer, you are at 7100 + 5500 = 12600
Towing capacity of the Sequoia is 7400 lb, you are well below that.
So you are well within the limits in the brochure, and again I can assure you that there are generous margins in those numbers. You will be fine with a good weight-distributing/sway control hitch like the Equalizer.
THIS IS THE BROCHURE I FOUND.If you have a different year, just google "20xx Sequoia weights and capacities" and you will find the right info.
I just saw that you have a 2010, so check for info on it. I expect the numbers will be very similar.
