Towing capacity of the Sequoia is 7400 lb, you are well below that....

Actually, they are not very similar...however I will say that they should be. 2010 was the Sequoia redesign before Toyota adopted the new SAE standards for tow capacity. I am not at home (I can look at the manual when I return home later this week) but recall our 2010 Sequoia Ltd 8 passenger with 20" wheels was rated for a max tow of 9100 lbs. However, if you noticed, the following year with no major updates to the Sequoia but with the new SAE standards, the tow capacity dropped by about 2000 lbs.
Here is a picture from my 2010 Sequoia Ltd 4x4, 8 passenger with 20" wheels and power seats passenger/driver:

Would I consider towing 9100 lbs. with our Sequoia?
Not a chance!
Not us, either. Ours has 18" wheels. But we intend to ignore the 9100# and go with the lower amount. This is all getting a little terrifying to us - we bought an "Ultra-light" TT and assumed that we could tow it with our Sequoia, rated, before the tow package, at 7500#. We seem to be under that but I"m getting nervous about it.
