Why don't you just take a couple of $$$ and buy a new sewer hose... they are cheap. Surly cheaper than a tube of caulk and enough soap to get the pooo out from under your fingernails
I've bought a new sewer hose every 7 to 10 years since 1970... sure didn't break the bank
It never occured to me that anyone would repair one... since the material they are made of tends to break down at about the same rate from end to end. Fix here, soon to leak there!
