I've found good luck with a the Valterra Dominator line of hoses. Not as often advertised as the Rhinos, but they have served well in my use. It also can't hurt to have two hoses, just in case the sewage outlet is a ways away.
I can't see patching them. The corrugated construction likely means that a patch won't stick well.
