I'll say this as respectfully as possible to you and he OP. While it's not mandatory to know a lot about vehicles or mechanics to drive a truck and pull a trailer, if one does not even know how to shift the transmission then I have to wonder about the other driving skills too.....btw, if you can't figure it out for yourself, there's about 200 pages of good reading in the glove box......owners manual.
This might be why so many reccomend a dually with wdh for a pop up on here. Just to take everything to the lowest common denominator.
