10 pages....it's amazing as your questions were answered in the first 8 posts. I really don't understand your issue with running in 5th. I have a F250 with the 6.7 that I normally tow with the cruise on, if I get in hills or a stiff head wind it will shift to 5th. When that happens I lock out 6th and still get within .2 mpg. It's a non-issue, locking out 6th will save your transmission in the long run. If you wanted to pull a trailer you should have bought a diesel or a ecoboost. It's unfortunate that you received some faulty information on turbos blowing up and it has you scared. I promise even if you had a 6.2 or 6.0 gas engine it will still shift in and out of 6th on every incline.
