If you stopped following this thread, why are you replying to it? You are like that family pulling in at midnight making a bunch of noise setting up.

You hit it right on the head, this guy is a clown. I guarantee you he took his truck in because he thought something was wrong now he's trying to save face because he lacks the knowledge of a 4th grader.

Actually, after all the posts here, I decided to talk to the dealer about it. A transmission tech at Ford told me they don't see these transmissions in. They are quite bullet proof and have a good computer program. They told me to either drop speed, or lock out the 6th gear, but pulling in 6th will not damage the transmission. The hunting will.
