shocks help. but the airsafe hitch really makes a much bigger improvement. let's the trailer move w/o transferring impact to the TV.
But, as I mentioned, given the cost unless you travel a lot and travel on road with frost heaves and/or back concrete expansion jointsm, potholes etc. it's probably not worth the expense for many users.
