shocks for f250 with camper
Hi all. I bought a 2000 lb. Lance truck camper for my 1999 f250. I need new shocks. Anyone try more than one manufacturer any arrive at a favorite they'd recommend? thanks!

- I second/third the Bilsteins - go with the 4600s. They are a GREAT shock.
Rob - I can't give you a comparison between aftermarket shocks on the same truck, but I had a 99 Chev 2500 with a camper on it and put Bilsteins on it to replace the stock shocks. The Bilsteins made a huge positive improvement in the handling and ride. Then I traded the truck & camper off for a Chev 3500 with a heavier camper.
- I have a 2007 F250/6.0PSD hauling a 2002 Lance 815 and I've tried both Rancho and Bilstein shocks. The Rancho shocks lasted about one year and were shot after that, the Bilstein have been on my truck for above 4 years and still holding up.
