Shocks

4600 bilsteins on my 04 at about 5,000 miles because I wasn't happy with the factory shocks. they are still working well at 125K (son now has the truck)

2015 Denali 2500, first tow with factory shocks and again, bilstein 4600 ordered and installed, much improved.

04 also has the bilstein steering stabilizer replacing the stock one at 125K miles. Not as much improvement noticed. stock one had the rubber bushing worn out and was clunking. Need a good pickle fork to get the steering stabilizer off on the 04.

Calm down I never said anything about bilsteins. I was responding to j2s request about the rancho 9000 shocks which in my experience did not last so I put the original factory shocks that came with my truck back on and I'm still currently running them.

I'm not reporting my opinion. The fact is the Rancho 9000's just did not last. I've read good and bad reports on these shocks and more out of curiosity I tried a set.

Perhaps I work my truck too hard! :C

I run them on my 06 3500. I like them. They don't get the press that the Bilsteins get, but I think they do a great job with the added flexibility of being adjustable.
