Vahalla360, sounds like you have your mind made up about COG and choose to ignore it, so no sense in trying to educate you about what that means.
There are other parts of this issue of having a TC. Why have your TC overhang any more than possible? Why have any more length than absolutely necessary? Why have any more weight than necessary? You are planning on going to a distant area.
Finally, if you got a good deal on the truck, you probably wouldn’t have a problem trading for what you really want instead of settling for what you have.
