Should Slide Work With 12v Power Only?

For what it's worth, my new motorhome says to either be plugged into shore power or run the generator. All this says is that it needs a lot of power to operate the slides. Make sure you have good batteries.

All RV's are designed for the basic functions to operate from the battery. Otherwise the trailer would not work when you camp where there is no shore power...

When you are connected to shore power the converter which runs from 120VAC will now provide 12VDC power to operate all of these basic function and also keep your 12VDC battery system charged up.

Check your 12V fuses

Cable, hydraulic, rack & pinion?
Otherwise yes I believe the slide should run fine on battery alone.

Do the lights and water pump work on just battery? (they should)

Mine works on 12V; Check battery and make sure the battery master switch is "ON"
