You are getting into a desirable season where you live. Once the the temperatures jump back up to triple digits, you might get the itch to go camping somewhere where the air conditioner does not have run constantly.
We just finished what may be the the last trek through the mountains before snow hits (we actually drove through it at 4000' on 10/3). We are now adjusting our camping to locations closer to sea level or more coastal.
