Yah, Mine went out and I got a replacement, Shurflo, but learning I need to keep a 'Back up' cause running out of water in the boonies is not fun.
As a backup, I was thinking of a little more powerful one, but hesitant due to pressure flows etc.... so interested in this post too..
I got the same one noted above, but looking for the next level up..
SHURFLO 4008-101-E65 3.0 Revolution Water PumpPretty easy to replace, just connect the input/output hoses and the wiring and you're good to go..
But remember, get a back up just in case.
Sometimes, I'm told, it's just the propeller part, not the actual motor parts, but not sure how it all fits in..
Back up.
One is NONE
Two is ONE...
as they say...
There's also a Tank/pre-filled or something like that.. it goes from pump to a holding/reserve tank and you draw from that. Enough pressure to keep it quiet while drawing but eventually the pumps comes on to fill the holding/reserve tank.. might help a little..
