Yeah, the issue isn't having multiple tanks, of either black or grey variety. The issue is he has 2 separate sewer outlets. The outlets where the stinky slinky connects.
Usually when trailers have two, one is in front of the axles and one is behind. A Wye connection takes care of it when on a site with sewer. But if you use a drive-through dump station it means jockeying the trailer to dump a second time. I wouldn't like it either.
I'll bet it annoys the guy behind you in line at the dump station too, when he thinks you are done, starts his truck in anticipation, and then he sees you only move 10' and start connecting again. His problem, sure, but expect the occasional stark glare at you.
