Single black/gray drain outlet

Our last tt (2016 crossroads zinger) had two separate gray tanks with two separate drains..so, at dump station, it would be - connect / drain/ disconnect, and then do it again at the second drain.. along with the underhung coupler, this dual-drain thing is a big reason i ditched that trailer...did not even realize until i took it out for the first time...

Something for others to think about
  • It's the only way I have ever known. I think it depends on location of things and size of trailer. We have a front bathroom with shower and then kitchen sink. Each has it's own grey tank. I can't imagine having only 1 and having the plumbing connect the 2. I guess it would be easier but not really a big deal.
  • There have also been threads where the owner plumbed in his own ABS lines to connect them for a single dump location.
  • I have seen quite a few with dump valve in the rear-because of rear kitchen?- and towards the middle on same rig. They use a "Y" to connect from 2 hoses to the hose at the dump hole.
  • I have never had multiple dump locations on an RV. Whats the issue?
