I suggest that no one tears a camper apart...
look, think, plan,act, cuss, cry, finish, get over it... and you won't have to fix a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with the problem

they come in two configurations
both gears the same size
or one large and one small gear...
...... you'll need to know to order replacements... take a rough measurement
There won't be any roll pins... The shaft is a hex (6 sided)
everything is very close quarters... thin end wrenches and 1/8 turns... bloody knuckles... well at least one... some cussing
And a great sense of relief when finished...
