I put a Y adapter on the hose bib for a second hose for washing feet and cleaning fish etc. On the day we leave, I climb up the rear ladder with the hose and rinse off the top of the slide from the ladder. No need to climb all the way onto the roof. Then finish the front and back from the ground. At the campgrounds we go to, the trees dump a pile of twigs, acorns and leaves all over the camper. If the wind is blowing, things are going to get on top of the slide even with a slide topper. That and they can flap in the wind if flapping noises bother you.
