Just saw this thread. Right after we purchased ( couple of weeks ago) a 2013 AF996 (dual slide), go figure. We had a 1989 Lance and that thing weighed a ton. Had it for 18 years. Loved it. But it was time to move up and get a little more comfort and room. Have not used it yet, doing all the things that need to be done to make it custom.
Going to make a 9 day trip here in a couple of weeks so will find out. With it on the truck it actually felt more stable than the old Lance.
This has a tool that you can manually bring the slide in if it does not work. But only one side. Table side, not kitchen side.
Have not tried it yet, but it can the that hard. Has anybody done it with theirs?
