I agree with the other on-topic responses above. I have the exact same arrangement but in my case I don't sit up and read in bed before going to sleep since DW is typically in bed sleeping already. But if I wanted to do that I would have the same problem. We DO have the same dilemma when in there watching the second TV which is opposite the sloped front of the trailer.
As others have intimated, a bug pillow is a solution but as OG said, you'd have to put that on the floor afterwards and then remember to step over it when going to the bathroom in the night.
AN "armchair pillow" may be a solution as it should push you far enough away from the sloped wall to work.
