Costco has the SmarterTools AP-2000iq for $599 its comparable in size to the Honda and it can be run in parallel.Has anyone had any experience with this generator, good or bad? At this price im tempted to give them a shot. These do have the YamahaMZ80 engines in them.

I was tempted, too, but the parallel capability on that unit does not double the power (goes from 2000 W to 3000 W) according to the owner's manual. If I only needed a single unit, I would have snatched one up.
