Snow and Diesel

Just wondering if snow has any effect on your price of diesel? Here in the Hudson Valley area of NY, Sun. diesel was $3.89. We had 3-5 in. of snow on Monday, Tuesday's price,$4.25, quite a jump I'd say. Wednesday we had another 8-9 in. of snow. (Today) Thursday's price, $4.38,another good spike. Curious, if this is the norm for you guys in you neck of the woods. When spring rolls around, (at least in this area) I generally pay Sunday's price or a little less. What's in like in your backyard.     Kroger has great discounts on fuel for shoppers here in Texas. New York state is always higher with the state tax on fuel. Spend a lot of time in and around Syracuse and irritates me to pay the price for diesel. Just filled up at $3.52 a gallon.

    Rockport, TX same price for 2 months $3.54 - $3.59
    Was in Galveston, TX this past Sunday and it was $3.26 at Krogers. I had .20 discount so wound up paying $3.06
    I cussed myself because the truck would only take 14 gallons.
