I took another quick look at it this morning before I left for work. Under the sink etc it looks like paneling turned upside down which isn't going to do me any good as far as having a place to anchor the bolts to.
I revisited the "roll up siding" and now think I have an idea on how that will work. It looks as if items like the propane box would have to be removed and the screws along the underside and the channel that holds the bottom edge of the siding in place should come loose. And lets not forget the 20 year old dumb dumb putty and the 3 layers of silicone on top.
Do I have the roll up siding thing pegged?
I think I may need to go this route to see the condition of the wood and to replace/repair.
