Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. I didn't think of the aluminum angle and think that's a great idea for certain applications and will most likely use it in the near future as I try to sure up the edges, especially the passenger side where I have the single jack being converted to a double.
I see the thought process in the new found space, these things are designed tight and any storage you can gain is a plus. I may be able to store the jacks under there plus I need the height increase anyway.
I'm hoping to be able to spend some time this weekend wrapping this part up.(want to try to squeeze a few hours of crabbing in there somewhere) We want to make the VT trip in early October.
Tell you what, took the family to to Island Beach State Park today. The greenheads were so bad that I spent more time airing my tires down and back up then we did on the beach. Ive never seen it so bad.
