Another structural trick is to put a thin skin of plywood on the inside over the stud frame with glue and fasteners but then really need to watch for leaks since it doesn't dry/ not vented so well with the plywood on there.

Hell Depot sells an inside corner brace for building decks. I'm going to pick one up today and see how well that lays in the front inside corner. If that sits right and I can secure it with screws I think between that and a piece of 1/2 ply wood in the front corner and a 2x10 of some type of wood on the under side and run carriage bolts through to mount the jack plate should work.
If not I'm just going to plant a tree and throw some sand down in the driveway and we can just camp right there. ;)
