Like Jimh425, we just returned from a several states tour, and Yellowstone was perfect for our old camper. We started out from Calif, to Nevada, then Utah, went up to Flaming gorge, and across to eastern Wyoming. Stayed in a place called Lusk, and then to South Dakota, where we went to Crazy Horse, Rushmore, and stayed just outside Custer park. then got itchy, and drove over to Wyoming again, and through Cody, ( my dream spot), and up through Montana to Kalispell, and down to Ellensburg, Washington to visit. Then off to Oregon, and did both east and west sides. Down through the big Redwoods, and along Hwy 1, ( Exciting at 5mph around curve designed to mountain goats,)camped in the fog along the coast by Ft Ross, back to 101, and flying down I-5 from Santa Nella to home.
True, just us and three dogs, but the two big ones were sometimes a pain.
