We discussed moving to a different RV like most. But we decided to stay with a truck camper as well. Something about fishing at sunrise waiting for the coffee to brew and we are 20 miles past the end of the pavement on Padre Island National Seashore is hard to beat.
People do bring their big rigs down Island but they have lots of problems if conditions turn bad.
