Why sell a camper that we truly liked and used 3 1/2 years? Because it was a way too tall and wide for the kinds of trails and roads we like to travel on.
We did something similar 8 years ago, after 5 years with an AF 1150 full wall slide with every option under the sun on a DRW CC long bed we wanted something smaller and more maneuverable, something that could be carried on a SRW and fit more places including be better for beach camping. The 1150 was like a small house and gave me high blood pressure every time I raised it on the jacks to load or unload. I didn't go as small as you but I looked at the type of camping we like to do and decided we didn't need a generator, microwave, A/C, solar... We have a pretty basic 861 and I setup 2 Trojan batteries in the generator compartment which gives us enough juice for 75% of the trips we take. Should have gotten a solar panel though since in the winter or week long trips boondocking be nice to let the sun top me up than bring the small honda genny in the truck. May add one soon.
I originally got into TCs for convenience, places I could go with it and to use my daily vehicle to carry it. First setup wasn't all that convenient, did limit where we could go and I absolutely hated driving an empty DRW CC. Ride was aweful and roads/businesses are rather tight and beat from winter plows. Couldn't even fit through DD drive through in town or Bank ATM with my DRW the way the entrances cut between bldgs at 90 degree angles. You're going to enjoy your new rig for sure.
