Congrats to Mike on choosing the right tool for the job. I looked at much the same; our first TC we learned what we liked/did not like/needed/did not need. Our second TC is the result of that learning experience.
I know this is getting off topic but I will put this out there in regards to the Heiki. We really like ours, the view at night is awesome.
I have seen the concerns about heat build up; we leave ours as recommended half screen/half shade during daytime hours.
Has anyone tried automotive tint?
I considered this but am not entirely sure this will effectively minimize heat.
If you have experience either on a hatch or a car window; what do you say? Is tinting effective in keeping thingscool on the interior?
