We prefer a stove top with a continuous grate to position different sized pots. Now that we have an electric hot plate and out door LPG burner, we also do not use our stove top (prefer to cook outside of the box).
We have the microwave/convection oven and do not have a LPG oven. If we do not have hookups, we press a button to fire up the generator. This may not be as easy as what you will have to go through since your usage is different and you do not have 60 lbs of LPG capacity to fire up a generator at will.
