I asked Jeanie whether she has ever needed more than our 2-burner cooktop. The answer was no. On the other hand, each individual's cooking style should be paramount in deciding how many burners and the general layout of the galley.
Jeanie says two burners are perfect. Whether we have just gotten used to 2 burners or never really needed more than two is up for conjecture.
