The design of the Heki makes no sense. Who in their right mind would use two flimsy plastic latches on a large skylight? Why make them black to absorb even more heat? The best I could do was apply white paint on the top of the Heki skylight to keep the latches out of the direct sunlight. I should probably also try painting on the inside of the Heki. Maybe I will take a look at that this afternoon.
