Mike, since you are eliminating the Heiki vent ask Rex to put the same thickness plywood thru out the entire roof. Northstar usually uses luan where the roof tapers in the bed area. You also can ask Rex to do a full build out to give you more height in the bed area. You are making a good choice to go with Northstar, they build a rugged camper and you can't beat Rex for GREAT customer support.
