I made the 2x6 under supports when we were doing the repairs on the S&S and the jacks were off it. It was so stable that way that I carry them with me now and use them when it's off truck, and its rock solid. They fit between the TC and the wheel well when its on the truck and the jacks go into a compartment under the dinette.
