Solaire TT Blew Over in Storm

Actually I was going to post because I got the settlement info today. I am happy to share that our insurance company is going to pay me the max our policy allows (which is close to the NADA value), minus our deductible. That will allow me to pay the unit off. So I am ending up with a situation that is playing out as good as it possibly could, which I am so thankful for. In addition, after three different trips to two different dealers, walking through lots of travel trailers and 5th wheels, we put a deposit on a new Jayco Jay Flight today. Unfortunately, the floor plan we wanted wasn't in stock with the options we desire, so we had to order one. It will take some time (6-8 weeks) to get, but we'll have it before our big "before school starts" vacation as well as some fall camping trips we have scheduled. In the end we are going to end up with a nicer unit honestly and my whole family is very excited. Just being 8' wide instead of 7' wide is going to be nicer and give me more peace of mind when it sits in our driveway during a storm. I'm still going to stake it down though to ensure this doesn't happen again.

I want to give a shout out to Farm Bureau Insurance, which is our carrier and treated us very good throughout this process.

So now I am waiting for the check from FB to go pay off the lien and get the title cleared, so a salvage company can purchase the unit from the insurance company and take it from the dealer who has it right now.

Quite an ordeal, but I'm so thankful for how it is all turning out! Feeling blessed after the storm! :)
