Solar Wiring
Now that I have the 100 Watt Solar on the way, figured it was time to sort out the wiring.
Hopefully, the schematic is clear enough to understand.
The wiring to the camper is at the rear bumper to make connecting very easy. Used a standard 7-pin plug but since I only have clearance lights, was able to use 3 pins for ground and 3 pins for positive. Battery is directly above the connector, so it actually minimizes the loss by having the heavy #2 wire run to within 5 feet of the battery. This is optimizes battery recharge, but not necessarily the best for powering heavy loads like the Fridge.
The numbers above each of the wires shows GAUGE/FEET of the run.
Do I need to add fuses or breakers any place I missed. Not shown, but the truck relays are fuse protected and controlled by ignition.
