We took the camper out last weekend, and the new manual crank-up system worked fine. They also fixed the sagging step to the front bunk and properly wired the stereo. Of course, I had to put on new chains since they took the ones off that I had put on to fit my Jeep.
We haven't spoken with the Somerset rep again since we got it back. We really feel like they owe us something for all the hassle, and for the fact that we now have a manual lift instead of a power lift. It's just that they really hold all the cards here. We don't have any leverage.
We're going out again for Memorial Day weekend, so this will be a little more of a test.
