Spare Leaf Spring

On our last trip I busted a leaf spring while under warranty. Lippert sent me two new springs (for front axle) and a mobile tech to install them. Since getting home I've replaced all 4 #2200 springs with new #2500 springs and a MORyde wet bolt and shackle kit.

I now have two nearly new #2200 springs and a bunch of shackles and shackle bolts sitting around. Is there any reason to carry any of this stuff as spares? How often do leaf springs break?

    I guess they'll go in my shop to collect dust like everything else in there. Sounds like I'll need one about as often as I need a spare spring bar for the WDH.

    If you start carrying "spares" and a ton of extra, "just in case parts," you will probably keep breaking stuff (like leaf springs) because you are overloaded....

    Not common to break a spring but does happen.
    Less common after you upgrade.

    +1 for the recycle bin.
