I HATE spiders. Now my TT has these little spiders living in it. I don't know where we could have picked them up. There are lots of them. I tried spraying around the floor and corners with spider killer, but that didn't take care of it. I'm thinking about fogging the TT, but it's a relatively small closed-up area and I'm wondering if it's safe. Cooking, eating, and sleeping areas are all right there, ya know. Fog or no fog?

People fog their houses all the time and survive. I would turn off the frig and water heater and close the propane valves first, then clean up well afterwards. Or just tow it north until you get to freezing temps and let it sit overnight with all doors and windows open.

I have used the bug bombs in my popup with good results. I always hate to kill things in place however - then you have to deal with dead bugs, spiders, and mice...On my POPUP there is just too many places to control where small critters can get in...Roy Ken

When it's time to have the house sprayed, I usually get the TT done as well. A fogger is a good way to go as well. Turn everything off and open all of the cabinets and doors. Wipe down when done. You might want to put one underneath your TT as well if you have some way to block air flow (like hang plastic or placing some barrier to keep the fog concentrated)This way, you will get all of the entry points

Fortunately spiders are not very 'hardy' and kill off fairly easily. One dose of fog and leaving the trailer closed should take care of them. Afterward you come in and clean counter tops, cooking surfaces and dishes etc. (just like you would at home).

What ever you do make sure you buy a 'dry' bomb. OR you will spend your entire camping season washing down EVERYTHING in the RV to get the goop off.

Bengal makes a good one.

Some people have luck with citrus sprays (natural) Try it if you dont want to bomb the rig. (google how to make it). Might not work but worth a shot, at least your RV will smell good :)

Fog it or use glue traps.

Spiders can be hard to kill unless you hit them directly with the poison. The best thing you can do is remove their food supply.

Those little spiders are probably hatchlings that will, in time, grow up to be big spiders. Spiders have their right and proper place but it doesn't include your RV. I would fog it.

Go catch a few frogs and turn them loose inside the camper for a few weeks, then catch the frogs and turn them loose. Lizards work well also but are a little harder to catch, even once their bellies are full.:W
