180000 miles. I ruled out the belt due to the fact it is less than a year old, good and tight and in good condition, and the truck is quite consistent about the squeal starting at 2200 rpm and stopping at 2500 rpm, or close. I should mention that it does have an engine exhaust brake on it but it doesn't seem to make any difference if it is on or off. I just took it up a long hill by our house and tried to get some noise but couldn't. Only with the 5th wheel on the back. If it were belt/pulley issues it shouldn't care the load, only the rpms.
Edit. I am thinking along the lines of transmission , torque converter or exhaust. With the rpms up to 2200 and the boost up to 25 I can get a squeal but that's hard to do on these mountain roads around us.
