For traveling the aluminum stands are nice-no weight easy to store. They are short-17" at full height so need to set up, make what ever to use before hitting the road.
I threw this together before an extended trip..

Across the front I counter-bored a 2x4 to set on top between 2 stands, center screw that enters top of post.
Rear just blocks with screw to set on top (keeps them from falling off when setting up)
Bases I used 2x, match drilled all the stands and set couple of finish nails-keep stands from walking off (or just around perimeter). Goes without saying just snug the stands. The stands by themselves do get rid of most of the movement. Walmart etc carries for same Amazon price-
I did make jack stabilizers but dont know how much time you have.
2 are attached jack to side once jacks swung out, 2 more are attached across front once off truck. Night and day, when raising/ lowering.
