My family has had TT's since the day I was born. I now have a Springdale that is now 14 years old. It has been a great camper but we have 4 daughters and are looking to upgrade. We need king/queen and 4 bunks. I am starting to browse floor plans. No rush, but would like to start narrowing our search. There are SO many brands out there. Are there any that I should stay away from? Are some really better than others? I've always heard that the accessories and appliances are made by 2-3 companies so really it's just about styling and trim. Is that the case? I have a 3/4 ton diesel so towing a TT won't be a problem. Thoughts?

I think I bought an upper line TT, OutdoorsRV Wind River. But, they all have issues with fit and finish. take some time here and on the Mfg suites and find the one that fits your likes and wallet. Before you buy it might want to take the family to see how everyone fits in it, then imagine being in it for two days of rain.

Lance is a 2 year warranty!!

I own a Winnebago Minnie TT. Quality build is what sold us on Winnebago.

I would think it would depend on the floorplan and space you would need and then just how much you want to spend or can afford and how you plan on using the trailer. Only you know that.

Open Range also comes with a 2 year warranty. And Forest River products sell a 2nd year for a very nominal cost, so be careful with broad-brushed statements.

The 4 bunk models get long and heavy, fast! I see lots of three bunk models, not as many with 4 beds. Most either have an outdoor kitchen or storage below one of the beds.

As others have mentioned, put together your list of wants and then begin the search. A couple things to consider, from somebody with three kids. Outside entrance to bathroom, curb-side dinette (large window overlooking my site, where the kids play), bunk house storage (life is easier when each kid has their own drawer/shelf), holding tank size.

As previously mentioned I own a Wind River. But in the absence of Wood Glue I will throw in the Lance name as a well built trailer but might not have the floorplan you want.
