I have a good friend that installed it on his Duramax and tows a 39’ fiver. He said he definitely notices the additional power when towing. As for mileage, he said he’s getting 4-6 more mpg. He still has his EGR & DPF,s hooked up. He runs it on the lower setting, I think 30 hp.
It increases rail fuel pressure which will improve atomization which can reduce regen from occurring as often. He said he noticed that it doesn’t regen as much as it use to. Go figure.
4-6 mpg increase? I would not believe a word he said after that. Even a full delete and tune will not increase your mpg that much.
It is called " chipping " here. It is an electronic way of improving power slightly and fuel economy again slightly
I know what it is and what what it can do. Everyone one of my vehicles for the past 15 years has had the ECU remapped and tuned. Some I have done myself and others I have had others do. Some only provide small gains like this Stealth module and its 60 hp/290 lb-ft gains while other like my EFI Live tune added 175hp/392 lb-ft max. - RobertRyanExplorer

He’s bigger than me so I’m not going to call him a liar. I will pass along your message, though. - ShinerBockExplorer

Careful you may rip the pin right off the trailer frame.
Nah, it will probably just require you to pay extra for all of its power like the $10,000 surcharge for the "ludicrous mode" in the Model S.
Me? Nah, I would never own one. Even if Tesla doesn't go under before they make a truck (which all signs say they will), a battery operated Tesla truck would not be able to fit my needs. ShinerBock wrote:

Is that hand calculated? Because with this tuner spraying more fuel after the ECM sends the signal the EVIC will be nowhere close to accurate.
