Also highly recommend GasBuddy app. Generally if you're on the interstates, you can pretty much count on a Pilot, Flying J or Love's coming along pretty quickly. We pretty much count on those with easy in and out.
DH just found a new app and it's great....iExit. Gives you upcoming exits and what you'll find there....only exits along major highways - nothing intown. Range is around 50 miles give or take. He likes it.
Our next least favorite to having to back out is the parking right alongside the store. Would be an easy turn to get out if there weren't a dozen cars parked and with no sign of being in any hurry to move.
