I have a 36 gallon tank and start looking for "truck stops" around 1/2 a tank. Most standard gas station don't have enough room to get around the pumps without driving into the building. Then there's so much congestion, you can't back up either. I won't use anything but truck stops.
Previously pulled a smaller 23' Jay Flight 19BH with a Sport Trac that had a small tank. Almost ran out of gas as we were in a rural area without any gas stations/truck stops.
My Rig is roughly 48.5'.
