Sit down and plan your route, know when you want to stop for fuel. Don't wait until you get low. I have had no problem with the newer truck stops...Pilot, Loves, ETC. Now, you might run into this: two years ago we were on our way back from Tybee Island, GA. I had just had a blow out on my truck...got that fixed okay. I pulled into a Loves to get some fuel, same place I stopped on the way down. I pulled into the pumps with the trailer sticking back. I knew the people in front would soon pull out so I would just drive on through. My wife went inside to get us some subs while I was pumping gas. The people in front still had not moved, they were just going back in and then coming back out. They were pumping gas when I first pulled in. When I finished I had to back up to get out of the way...I pulled to the side, we ate our subs. Just be prepared for anything....
