A lot of gas stations are RV friendly, just fine one of those. I pull my 35 ft TT through them from time to time. You just have to do your recon first.

Driving an RV is like playing pool. You just don't just sit up and take the shot in pool. You sit up and walk around the table and check out all the angles and options you have. You also do this when driving an RV and then you pick your pump and make your move! :)
I love the comparison to pool!! I drop the wife on the first pass with the walki talki and she guides me in. We are 59' total. Only time we had a problem was about 15yrs agao with a 39' 5er coming into Miami VERY low on fuel decided "this was it or run out" pulled off and into a very poor looking section of town. Everybody eying us as we drove by. Dropped off my wife she spoted the fuel pump and proceded to guide me in and right as I started in for the pump I looked up to check clearance and crap!! a 12' canopy, we were 13'6". Had to back out accross 3 lanes of trafic. Pulled into the nearest side street, found a curb side long enough for the 5 er and unhitched in a flash went for fuel and back asap. Wife stayed with the trailer the whole time and said one truck kept driving by at least 4 or 5 times slowing down. I'm sure if someone would not have been there talking on the radio it would have had a different result for the trailer. In the end all was well and luckily a funny memory to look back on.
