Stove top covers for additional counter space
Any thoughts or experiences on the following 3 covers. They are all in the $45 - $55 range and the color my wife and I are interested in is black. Our stove is the Wedgewood Vison 3 burner. 1...

Here's a stove cover I made. It is a torsion box design (made like a hollow door) so it is light weight, but very flat and resistant to warping. I covered it with a piece of formica laminate. Rubber "feet" on the bottom fit into the stovetop grate so it does not slip even in travel. When the stove is in use the cover stands on end against the side wall and is held in place by the vent hood.
