Stove top covers for additional counter space

Any thoughts or experiences on the following 3 covers. They are all in the $45 - $55 range and the color my wife and I are interested in is black.

Our stove is the Wedgewood Vison 3 burner.

1. Atwood Bi-fold cover
2. Decor-mate stove topper
3. Camco Universal Fit Stove top

I'm leaning toward the Atwood.

Our Jayco is very limited on counter space and we rarely, if ever, use the burners.

    How do you cook?

I have the wedgewood vision 2 burner and wanted the same thing. since we usually microwave everything not cooked outside I made a wooden cover out of 1x3s and some 1/4 inch plywood. stained the boards to match and put 4 self stick vinyl tiles on the top that closely match the counter top. can set it on the bed if we need to use the stove.
it sits a little higher than needed, the next size 1 x 2s were too short so I may take it to my table saw and lower the sides a little, unfortunately, I put in one nail per corner and of course they are located exactly where I would need to cut.

  • We have a top cover similar to the Atwood. Here's how we use it to increase counter space. The only time I need extra space, I generally have something on to cook. One thing though......if I'm using the back burners, I take anything off the shelf. The second pic shows how it's done. DH drilled small holes in the fan and the top, then cut a wire hanger to use to hold up the shelf. Note: the shelf is NOT slanted like that --- an optical illusion and I'm not going out to take another pic :) :)

I would not get anything other than the Atwood. It folds into a backsplash and when deployed it provides a usable surface. However it does flex a bit under heavy weights so if you have intentions of putting heavy stuff on this then a butcher-block wooden top is probably strongest.
